Route 2....
All, I decided to go Route 2.
Based on the fact it doesn’t look promising at all to get the data back, We have to work with what we got.
So, here is what needs to happen next.
- Every Kingdom needs to Rejoin.
- You need to give out Province codes again to your ENTIRE kingdom.
- And Yell at me! haha.
Sorry all, I know Im gonna get an ear full over the next couple of days and will completely understand if you hate pimp for a few days or weeks because of this, but I couldn’t help it and I had to get pimp up and running ASAP.
I imagine most of you already have SAVED intel in Angel. Just re paste it to pimp. I promise I will keep this better managed along with those ‘F’ING back ups. This just has me going. I don’t understand why they went corrupt.
Im gonna look into this Deep and hard.
On a BETTER note: I did FINALLY get the EST WPA / MOD WPA / EST TPA / Mod TPA in pimp and working. Hope you all are happy to see these values now. The Formulas are not quite there on the MODS, but they are pretty damn accurate via the Utopian Wiki….
Again, I AM SORRY ALL….. I know this is going to be a hassle to get your kingdoms to JOIN back up… Please have mercy on me for the next couple of days…

I DECIDED TO GO WITH ROUTE 2 have having a big discussion with the guys in IRC on #strategy.
Big problems over here right now. I lost all the province Data for pimp… This includes all CB’s, All Links, All Province codes etc…
If your wondering how, Well the Database was getting huge and I was doing weekly back ups of the data. Well the back ups went corrupt… ALL of them.
I was adding new columns to the database to take care of new requests being made for WPA and TPA and I went to add the columns to the main table and it went corrupt on me. And now I can’t get the data back because the Backups also were corrupted. Even though I tested them. The last SOLID back up I HAVE is from last age. And that does NOBODY ANY GOOD.
On another note, I DID NOT lose the Settings/User Information/Column Setups. All I lost were the connections and the Province Data that mainly comes from CB’s.
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. What the HELL do I do. I am sitting here at 5:00 AM and I am trying to figure out how to take care of this. UGH…
Route 1: I can try for the next day or TWO or THREE to get the data back. Hope that it is sitting there and and one backup isn’t corrupt. I can’t run the transactions logs back because the entire set of data went corrupt.
Route 2: Reset UtopiaPimp to its original State where everything comes back like a brand new start of the age.
What do you all think? The faster I get responses, the better for everyone for me to make a decision.

Fixed the CE issue...
Hey all,
So if anyone tried to upload their CE from around January - March may have noticed it wasn’t uploading correctly and it was sent to me.
I found a bug in the way I convert Date and Times.. Its now been fixed and all is well. So if you had that problem and still wish to store you CE, Just go back to February’s paper and it should all work out alright!

Now you might be a little confused or upset, but I thought I would let yall know. Ive actually have never used my Pimp until just a few weeks ago. I know what you must think, but my kingdom always used other tools to get the job done.
I decided that I need to start using it and I need to settle down a little bit in Utopia. So I went from a top ranking kingdom and traded into a rather lousy kingdom. At the time of writing this the kingdom doesn’t know I am in their kingdom as the developer of pimp.
I have focused a bit as of this past few weeks and been noticing a lot more problems in pimp. Hope you all know, I am fixing them as fast and good as possible!
I had to be open and honest with you all just so you knew where I was coming from. Now you know!
New Pimp Agent Uploaded

A new Agent has been uploaded.
- I fixed a problem with the Ads showing up on Utopia. The ads being shown on Utopia were corrupting the information sent to pimp.
- I also greatly reduced the size of the Ad on agent. I had a few complaints about the size. So I am sorry about the size, I guess my screen is bigger than most. Because im doing all this for free, I am trying my best to reduce all the ads while still being able to pay for hosting and bandwidth. The bandwidth is greatly used when using pimp agent, so thats why I am still trying to recover just a little bit of costs from the ad on Agent. Hope you all can understand.

If you don’t don’t know what Agent is and you use FIREFOX, I would definitely suggest looking into it. It saves a load of time and effort for those lazy users out there!!! Just kidding!
Was Asked about Kingdom Summaries
Hey all,
I was asked last night how accurate the kingdom summaries were. I didn’t clearly know so I took a huge paper and when through it line by line. I found I had a few amount of inaccuracies and I fixed them. When putting papers here on out, they will now be extremely accurate. Or at least thats my hope.
Hopefully you can start to gage wars on these kingdom summaries and if your winning or not.
On a last minute note: Anything CE related submitted BEFORE me writing this post will NOT be as accurate.

Some of you have been asking where I have been. Well I just wanted to let you know, I have been around. Watching over pimp closely.
I have been fixing a lot of small problems with pimp un-noticable to those people that don’t submit a lot of data and go over it. A few things you might have noticed. More spells and effects are now showing up in pimp. The CE’s are showing more items and its being cleaned up more. I guess I have just been working on cleaning up pimp to work with the new code base. I had a lot of old code that scanned the information entered and it was about time to clean those items up for the new code base from Utopia. So I may have not been posting, but I was working. Slowly, but surely.
Hope that cool with you all. I am still looking for the active discussion surrounding WPA/TPA. I wish more users would get involved. I need as much input as I can to make sure this works clearly and is right for everyone. After all this WPA/TPA are guesses after all.
